A Bakery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a bakery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing staff, and ensuring that products are made to the highest standards.
They supervise the production of baked goods, manage stock levels, and ensure that all equipment and facilities are kept in good working order.
Duties
Plan and organise the production, storage and dispatch of bakery products
Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are maintained
Monitor staff performance, house keeping, providing feedback and guidance
Production of Bread and Cake
Keep up to date with new products and baking techniques
Order ingredients, equipment and supplies
Manage staff roster, off days and holidays
Maintain accurate records and paperwork
Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance procedures.
