Job Description
- A Bakery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a bakery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing staff, and ensuring that products are made to the highest standards.
- They supervise the production of baked goods, manage stock levels, and ensure that all equipment and facilities are kept in good working order.
Duties
- Plan and organise the production, storage and dispatch of bakery products
- Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are maintained
- Monitor staff performance, house keeping, providing feedback and guidance
- Production of Bread and Cake
- Keep up to date with new products and baking techniques
- Order ingredients, equipment and supplies
- Manage staff roster, off days and holidays
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork
- Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- OND, HND, B.Sc in relevant field of Study.
- 1 – 3 years experience in Bakery Supervision.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
