  • Process prescriptions and orders for medication for patients while keeping track of all relevant patient data using your computer skills.
  • Examine each patient’s medication order or prescription to determine whether the drug selection, dose, and dosage form are appropriate. Keep in mind patient-specific factors including age, weight, sex, illness state(s), elimination of organ function, diagnosis, and allergies. When applicable, use pharmacokinetic principles. If you require any clarifications or corrections, speak with the prescriber.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm)
  • Operating Pharmacy License by the approved Board in Nigeria.
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years in supervisory and Managerial role.
  • Firm knowledge of Pharmacy regulatory bodies in Nigeria.
  • Experience in Oncology drugs is an added advantage.
