Details of Online American University Scholarship
To be considered for the Online American University Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Entry Period: The first course required for the Online Merit Scholarship must be taken online at American University.
- Students who took courses prior to this date regardless of modality or enrollment status are not eligible to apply.
- Eligible students must be accepted into the online format of the Online Merit Scholarship by the time the first course is taken.
- Academic Performance: Eligible students must have graduated with a cumulative GPA as outlined above in undergraduate at the time of applications.
- Students also must remain in good academic standing, retaining a 3.0 GPA or higher while in the program.
- Completion Period: The funds will be applied to the students’ accounts as outlined above.
Requirements for Online American University Scholarship
To be considered for the Eira Francis Davies (EDS) Scholarship, you must:
- hold a minimum 2:1 bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- have formally accepted an offer to study at Swansea University in September 2024
- be female.
- be a new student at Swansea University from September 2024.
- Within their application, demonstrate strong academic ability, a financial plan to study, and motivation for their chosen course at Swansea University.
- be a national and permanent resident of an EFD-eligible country as listed by the World Bank Country and Lending Groups classification as having ‘low income’ or ‘lower-middle income’ as of July 1, 2023.
- not receive any other financial support from Swansea University (e.g., tuition fee reduction, scholarship, or bursary).
- not be a progressing student from The College, Swansea University.
Benefits of 2024 Online American University Scholarship
- The listed scholarship amount is ($14,000) the maximum value of the scholarship awarded to an individual student.
- The scholarship will be awarded in the form of waived tuition and applied to the scholarship course(s) taken as part of the online merit scholarship.
How to Apply for 2024 Online American University Scholarship
To apply for the American University Online Scholarship, interested and qualified applicants should follow the procedures below;
