IITA (International Institute of Tropical Agriculture)Â is driven by an ambitious plan to revive 7.5 million hectares of farmland and bring 11.5 million people out of poverty by 2020. Established in 1967, our non-profit organization is overseen by a Board of Trustees and receives backing from other nations.
As one of the fifteen research institutes that make up the CGIAR, a worldwide collaboration for future food security, IITA is actively involved in multiple CGIAR Research Programs (CRPs). Our goal is to use research for development (R4D) to improve livelihoods and food security in Africa.

Job Description:

DUTIES:
- Carry out repair on damaged tractors to their original condition.
- Assist in estimating the cost of repairs of damaged vehicles or tractors.
- Attend to all vehicle and tractor repairs and assist other workshop staff as required.
- Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisors.

Job Description:
Candidates must have the following Description before applying for the Latest Jobs at IITA – International Institute of Tropical Agriculture
- Assist in operating mechanical planters and data collection from trials.
- Assist in determining the level of nutrients in soil, and analyze soil composition, fertility, and structure.
- Assist in testing and studying land to assess viability for special usage.
- Assist in operating scientific instruments such as PH meters, seed counters, etc.
- Assist in setting up laboratory and field equipment required for testing and conduct experiments to improve the quality and yield of plants.
- Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisors.
